Abstract

To design reaction flywheel for attitude control and demonstrate the feasibility and validity, the torque mode control system model is established and a scheme of digital control system is designed based DSP and FPGA. First, the mathematical model of brush less DC motor applied in the reaction flywheel is analyzed. Then, according to PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) type buck converter, the control system with current closed-loop control algorithm is formed by the electrical module library and the model experimentation is carried out. Ultimately, the engineering prototype system is built and the reaction flywheel prototypel's rotational speed, torque, phase current and phase back electromotive forces response cuives are analyzed by taking the electro motion as an example. With the average output torque precision over 5%, the engineering prototype experimentation results are consistent with the simulation results and satisfy the theoretical analysis and demonstrate that the model and design is reasonable and effective.
