Abstract
2007 年能登半島地震，2011 年東北地方太平洋沖地震による道路盛土の被害・無被害事例を対象に，原位置試験，室内土質試験，数値解析を実施し，①安全率と実被災程度の関係性等に基づく被災実態の調査，② 近年の地震被害を考慮した設計水平震度 kh の評価を行った．実事例数の不足を補うため，著者らによる遠心模型実験結果も対象に同様な数値解析を行った．その結果，①レベル 2 地震動に対する安全率が低下すると地震による天端の沈下量が大きくなる傾向にあり，震度法による安全率によって道路盛土の被災程度をある程度説明でき得る可能性があること，②I 種地盤においては，kh = 0.2・Amax / 620（Amax：最大地震加速度，単位：gal）にて評価した設計水平震度を考慮した安全率が 1.0 以上であれば，道路盛土の地震時被害は限定的（天端の沈下量が 40 cm 程度以下）になり得る可能性があることを明らかにした．
