Abstract

ABSTRACT A single hydraulic fracture stimulation was designed to contact several thin coal seams in a broad vertical interval overlying a narrow open hole section. The design was based on a large water prepad to create the required height growth. Analyses of extensive fracture diagnostics confirm that significant height growth occurred through the interval.
