Abstract
ABSTRACTTo promote efficient design of dual‐band antennas, this article proposes a diplexer‐type matching topology and presents simple formulae to design dual‐band matching networks for capacitive coupling element antennas having strongly frequency‐dependent impedances. Various realistic examples show that wide passbands in cellular communication frequencies can be achieved with only four matching elements. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
