Abstract
Comprehensive design data are presented for fixed-sector pad thrust bearings for a wide range of geometric parameters; the data are for laminar as well as turbulent regimes of operation. The data include load support, power loss, oil requirements and fluid film dynamic coefficients of the bearings.
