Abstract

Wildfires are generally Class A fires that are very difficult to control due to difficult terrain and uncontrolled fire behavior. The purpose of this article is to propose the idea of using unmanned aerial vehicles such as a quadcopter to extinguish a forest fire. It is necessary to develop an unmanned aerial vehicle that can operate functionally at such elevated temperatures. These unmanned aerial vehicles, using a payload drop mechanism, can carry and drop fire extinguishing balls over the fire to extinguish it. Structural analysis is carried out to check the dynamic characteristics of these vehicles. Thermal insulation provided for sufficient thermal protection of electronics and circuits.
