Abstract

Broadband transient voltage measurement is the most direct means to master the fault characteristics of new power system. In view of the fact that the traditional measurement method based on mutual inductance principle is limited by the measurement frequency band and cannot accurately measure the transient voltage, this paper designs and implements an integrated optical electric field sensor (IOES) based on Pockels effect, which has the characteristics of wide frequency band, strong antiinterference ability and good insulation, and takes the IOES as the core to form the electric field measurement system, The input and output characteristics of the electric field measurement system are given. In order to apply the IOES to the on-line monitoring of transient voltage, the stability of temperature and humidity of the electric field sensor is theoretically analyzed, and the measures to improve the stability are put forward.
