Abstract

A High-speed Switching Control Valve driven by piezoelectric actuator is researched. It takes advantage of the higher bandwidth and larger flow rate. The structure of bridge displacement amplifier is proposed to aim at the smaller displacement output and larger force output of piezoelectric (PZT). The strength and stiffness characteristics and influencing factors of displacement amplification structure are analyzed. The driving and control methods are researched, the performance characteristics of flow characteristics, opening and closing time, etc. are analyzed by building the model of piezoelectric switching valve. The prototype is trial- manufactured and tested, The simulation results show that the bandwidth is up to 350 Hz, The flow curve obtained by experiment show the flow rate can reach to 17 L/min. The requirements of high speed and large flow are realized.
