Abstract
Design of a focusing magnetic channel which is to be used for the compensation of defocusing effect of the fringing field of the cyclotron is described. It can be used in the wide range of magnetic field strength giving essentally the same beam trajectories for the variable energy, multiparticle operation without any readjustment. Practical design and performance in the IPCR cyclotron are given.
