Abstract

Energy significantly role in the social and economic progress of a country, whether the energy crisis over the world is a vital issue. Solar energy is the most useful renewable energy all over the world. However, the solar photovoltaic system cannot provide a continuous supply of energy, grid-connected Solar PV systems with the net meter are now being implemented that combine solar and conventional conversion units based on the load demand. In this paper, we have proposed the design and implementation procedure of rooftop on-grid solar PV system. Here, it has been installed 2KWp solar PV system using 8 solar panels (250Wp) at the rooftop of a building. Finally, the implemented system has been surveyed on the scale of time, day, and month to examine the energy production, consumption, and grid-energy saving performance. The results of the proposed and implemented design have been found feasible and economically viable.
