Abstract

Recently researchers have found that like TiO 2 ZnO also showing great characteristics as Electron Transport layer(ETL) in Solar cell, as it has almost similar properties of TiO 2 . In this paper, An optimized perovskite solar cell was proposed which was simulated with a thin ZnO layer as ETL using GPVDM simulator. The optimized structure of PSC shows the efficiency 31.2%. Inducing of a very thin ZnO layer after the perovskite material enhances efficiency significantly. But, The efficiency fall down significantly by removing the ZnO layer. The role of ZnO has been studied and the mechanism has also been explained using established formalism. The device was simulated in this structure for having highest efficiency-ITO/P3HT:PCBM/Perovskite/PEDOT:PSS/ZnO/SL Glass.
