Abstract

IF amplifier is the key component part between analog module and digital module in laser radar system. IF amplifier performance affects directly the signal to noise ratio, image quality and detection range of imaging laser radar system. In this paper, we design and develop IF amplifier. Also, we do the optimal analysis basing on the electronic tracking devices-the-loop simulation platform (ETDLSP). Firstly, we establish a simulation model of IF amplifier. Secondly, we build a semi-physical simulation platform of the electronic tracking devices (ETD) and do the optimization analysis of the IF amplifier performance using the platform. Lastly, the design method has been verified using a laser radar developed in our laboratory, with access to the system optimum IF bandwidth of 70MHz.
