Abstract

There is an inevitable vibration environment with a large temperature range of the space in the process of aviation equipment starting and flying in the sky. The aerial camera needs to work in such a harsh environment. As the Fast Steering Mirror (FSM) is an important component of the aerial camera, whether the FSM can work normally and stably determines the performance of the aerial camera. In order to solve the problem of the nomal functioning of the FSM in harsh environments, a voice coil FSM is designed in this paper using the simulation method of overall structure simulation, that is, the model of the fast mirror considers the deformation caused by the mass and movement of the base, mirror, frame and bracket of the FSM. The experimental results show that after the overall simulation design, a more accurate model can be obtained for the FSM, which lays the foundation for the subsequent prototype experiment. The necessity and effectiveness of the overall optimization and simulation in the design of the FSM system driven by voice coil motor are illustrated.
