Abstract

A flexible self-test function becomes crucial in the processes of debugging, production and user site testing in modern intelligent signal generators. In this paper, a design and implementation method of self-test system in signal generators are elaborated with respect to the overall architecture, driver program, data structure, self-test node binary tree traversal algorithm and software processing flow, etc‥ In addition, the availability of the proposed self-test system design method is verified via the actual circuit and software of a certain type of signal generator.
