Abstract

The stable of supplying water pressure and flow rate of lubrication system is very important when water lubricated bearings are running. In many studies, an effective closed-loop control for lubrication system has not carried out, which often leads to the unstable lubrication state of bearings under open-loop control. A PLC fuzzy control system for lubricating system is proposed. In this control system, the mapping relationship between pressure regulator opening and lubrication pressure is established, the lubrication pressure is adjusted by fuzzy control algorithm, and the stability control is realized by program design. The experimental results show that the performance of control system is well in dealing with pressure mutation, and the operating rate of pressure regulator is increased by 5%, and the pressure variation range of lubrication system is stabilized.
