Abstract
According to the present scenario, the renewable energy resources is becoming the source of energy due to the decrease in non-renewable energy resources (Fossil fuels). Solar energy is abundant renewable energy resource which is clean & sustainable. Solar power is the conversion of energy from sunlight into electricity, either indirectly using concentrated solar power, or directly using photovoltaic (PV), or a combination. In recent studies the HVAC appliances(Air conditioner, Water heating system etc) consumes more power and produces harmful greenhouse gases that depletes the ozone layer causing global warming. This disadvantage is overcome by the usage of Peltier element which is more resourceful, motionless, convenient & consistent and eco-friendly. To replace the existing HVAC system, a prototype of Peltier based solar powered Air conditioning & Water heating system has to be designed. The source of energy to this device can also be in a hybrid (Wind & Solar energy).The main objective is to obtain an Air conditioning and water heating applications from a single system.
