Abstract

Microwave low pass filter is an indispensable part of microwave circuits and wireless communication systems. This research work presents the design and simulation of low losses microwave low-pass filter of orders 3, 5, and 6 operating at 2.4 GHz cut-off frequency using the Insertion Loss Method. The design and simulation of the circuit have been carried out via Ansoft software. The outcomes predict the system is reliable and has the possibility of being transferred from lab potential experiments to industry applications. The designed filter is also fabricated on the FR-4 substrate with a dielectric constant =4.4 with thickness of the microstrip conductor 0.018mm and height = 1.6mm.
