Abstract

The current distribution in aluminum reduction cells is of great significance, but currently adopted simple detection methods and analytical tools can not meet the need for its current distribution on-line monitoring. The paper, based on the principle of anode and cathode equal-distance voltage measurement, with successful integration of advanced wireless sensors network technology and dynamic web technology, develops current distribution on-line monitoring instruments as well as corresponding data interface software and data analysis software, achieving on-line monitoring and real-time analysis of current distribution in aluminum reduction cells. The system changes the operation modes of parameter measurement, data storage and data analysis in current aluminum electrolysis industry. It also greatly improves the on-site workers' efficiency of measurement and data use, eliminating the problem of data errors in the process of data entry by traditional means. Actual operation results prove that the system has a very good promotional value.
