Abstract

As the key component of the solid rocket engine, the tailpipe nozzle's performance impacts on the motion torque or the motion force a lot. The servo system is undoubtedly a determining factor on adjusting quality of the tailpipe nozzle. In order to guarantee high precision and great efficiency, the electro-hydraulic servo system is a good choice. For the simple reason that the output torque or output force of just one actuator in the electro-hydraulic servo system is not enough for adjusting heavy load, the synchronous control of at least two actuators is adopted. An electro-hydraulic system with two cylinders is designed in this paper. The detailed system design is introduced in the beginning. And then the start process and the halt process for synchronous control is presented. The experimental part demonstrates performance of the electro-hydraulic system. At last, the conclusion part summarizes its applications. The electro-hydraulic system designed in this paper provides an ideal choice for adjusting of the tailpipe nozzle.
