Abstract

In allusion to improve defecting efficiency of defect detection in armored equipments, this paper designed and implemented defect detection system for armored equipments based on ultrasonic infrared thermography. Firstly, basic principles and characteristics of ultrasonic infrared thermography were depicted briefly in this paper. Secondly, design thoughts of the system hardware and software as well as defect detection flow for armored equipments were discussed emphatically. Finally, the application of the system in crack detection of armored equipments was presented.
