Abstract
In order to solve the problems of EV terminal, such as remote update trouble, overload data flow, unidirectional flow, poor security, a communication protocol for electric vehicle terminal is designed based on IEC60870-5-104. First, the functions and structure of EV terminal are introduced. Then, common data of the protocol is designed. Extensional design of protocol is made from three aspects: remote update, bi-directional push service and preceding data communication. The communication protocol has been used in EV terminals of Linyi, Shan dong Province. Experiment results show that the operations of the terminals are stable and reliable.
