Abstract

Due to the lack of authenticity and representativeness of the current vehicle emission detection results, this paper proposes a remote monitoring solution of ASM condition method for vehicle emission detection. We analyzed the working principle of ASM system, and explained the basic structure and workflow of ASM automatic test platform. Then the main hardware composition and software design are provided: the hardware is mainly designed from mechanical design and electrical structure, and the software is mainly designed from the idea of modularization. Finally, the test platform based on Internet is designed by using database storage and Web development technology to realize on-line monitoring and testing of locomotive emission. The results show that the system runs stably and the data collection is accurate, which fully meets the requirements of ASM condition test.
