Abstract

As the development of IoT rapidly leads to the birth and proliferation of IoT platforms, traditional IoT platforms exist with a single function and are unable to adapt to various IoT devices at the same time. The Cloud computing development has been very well-developed so far, and the traditional IoT platform has also introduced the Cloud computing center to deal with the data. However, as soon as the amount of data to be processed is too massive or there are errors in the data directly uploaded to the cloud computing center, it will contribute to overloading the cloud server. At the same time, some traditional large IoT platform development, management, operation, and maintenance need to devote a lot of time and effort. To address the above problems, we design a new city-level IoT integrated platform, which can simultaneously access all kinds of IoT devices in the city. Moreover, we apply edge computer technology in the design of the platform to deploy edge nodes to solve the server load problem. In addition, we specialize the design of the platform's cloud computer center by introducing a cloud-native environment to solve the platform's operation and maintenance management problems.
