Abstract

TMs paper proposes a novel advanced controller design for an interior permanent magnet synchronous motor position control system. First, the input-output linearization technique is used to transfer the system model into a linear system. Next, based on the linear system model, an Hinfin controller is designed to achieve robust performance of the position control system. A digital signal processor, TMS 320F2407, is used to execute the current-loop, speed-loop, and position-loop control algorithms. Several experimental results show that the proposed system has fast transient responses, good load disturbance rejection responses, and good tracking responses.
