Abstract

Objective A detection system of gastric motility based on bio-impedance technology has been designed.Methods The system consists of collection platform and analysis platform.The former part accomplishes simultaneous acquisition and data transmission of EGG and impedance gastric signals,the latter part uses wavelet transformation to deal with the extracted signals and completes the statistical analysis of some parameters,such as signals in time domain,frequency domain and the dominant frequency.Results The experimental result shows that the percentage of normal frequency (PNF) and the percentage of normal power (PNP) of patients with functional dyspepsia (pathology group,PG) are obviously smaller than those of healthy volunteers (control group,CG).The frequency instability coefficient (FIC) and power instability coefficient(PIC) of PG are grater than those of CG.Conclusion All this shows that the system not only can synchronously acquire signal of EGG and gastric impedance,but also offer a new detection method of the complex electricity-mechanism course of gastric motility and clinical tests.
