Abstract

The installing and working states of coaxial OCSR assembly seal device is analyzed and studied with ANALYSIS software when the thickness of OCSR is different. The effects of the OCSR thickness changing to the contact stress on seal face and contact surface, and to the Von-mises stress on O-type seal ring as well as to the spring force are presented. The good sealing performance and the self-compensation as the thickness change of OCSR in the design limits after wore are showed in this analysis that the design of OCSR is satisfactory. A theory guide is supplied to the further study and applications of the OCSR assembly seal device.
