Abstract

The proposed work establishes an analog framework for the hardware implementation of programmable fuzzy logic controller. It comprises mainly the analysis of the basic functional blocks that includes a programmable trans-conductance mode membership function circuit (MFC) as fuzzifier, a single layer multi-input MIN circuit as fuzzy inference and multiplier-divider circuit (MDC) along with current replication circuit (CRC) realized as defuzzifier. Linear setting of reference or biasing voltage can easily achieve programmability. The simulation result of each circuit is confirmed by PSPICE analysis.
