Abstract

As a new microwave remote sensing system, Video Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) can continuously monitor regional dynamic targets and realize the recognition and tracking of moving targets in the scene. This paper first introduces the working principle of the video SAR beam steering system from three aspects: the principle of the video SAR system, the principle of the video SAR beam steering system, and the principle of the antenna beam steering phase matching. On this basis, the design scheme of the video SAR beam steering system is given, and the design method of the video SAR mode beam steering based on the distributed beam steering system architecture and FPGA+DSP real-time beam steering calculation control is proposed. Finally, the test verification and typical test results are given, The research results have certain guiding significance for the mode design of airborne video SAR.
