Abstract
Open-source CMS (content management system) are the most preferred choice for many organisations to manage their web contents. A number of libraries are also using these for creating their websites. Joomla is one of the major open-source CMSs. Authors studied the creation of library website using Joomla of Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh. The University has a very good library website and has successfully implemented Joomla CMS since 2015. The author wants to share his experience of library website creation using Joomla CMS, so that peers and Library and Information Science professionals can analyse and use the CMS, if they find it appropriate and useful in their respective circumstances.
