(eds.), Advances in Coastal Research: Engineering, Industry, Economy, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 106, pp. 664–667. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.The personnel management system of coastal enterprises plays an indispensable role for decision makers and managers and can provide users with sufficient information and quick search tools. Its main task is to use computers to save the personnel files of all company members; conduct operations such as search, classify, count, add, modify, and delete when needed; and inquire about various files for different purposes. From actual personnel management situations, this study adopts Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 as the development tool and designs and develops a personnel information management system of coastal enterprises that can efficiently meet the basic scientific requirements for personnel management. With progress in personnel management and computers, the coastal enterprises system will be continuously perfected.
