Abstract

AbstractThe NodeMCU is used in this paper for health monitoring system as well as a women’s wearable safety device. The main aim of this device is to keep track of the women’s health and to safeguard them if they are in danger. The device uses the Internet of things to interact through secure networks and sends notification to users. Blynk is an IoT application that allows to interface, display visual data, store data in the Web, and construct IoT systems, as discussed in this article. In this paper, flex sensor, pulse sensor, and temperature sensor are used. Flex sensors are applied to determine the types of an accidents faced by the accident victim. When the user encounters any trouble in any place, they can give a corresponding message by moving their fingers accordingly. The information is then received by the microcontroller, which sends an indication to the chosen mobile device. The user’s location will be tracked before user accesses off the device when recorded. In fact, we used a battery-powered NodeMCU to operate the entire system.KeywordsMicrocontrollerBlynkFlex sensorsNodeMCUMobile phone
