Abstract

An industrial onion peeler and cutter having a high throughput of peeled and cut onions. The peeler has a simplified peeling mechanism that minimizes the manipulation of individual unions. The peeling mechanism is simple to maintain, minimizing downtime associated with maintenance. The peeler is also using the mechanism which can will peel all the onions in a large quantity. So, it's more useful compare by use hand which is only small quantity can produce to peel the onion. The simplified peeling mechanism will rotate the onion in one direction with high speed. When onion rotates, it will have the friction between the onion and the wall. The union also will touch the rough brush which is can make all the skin of an onion peeled. Some of the skin of an onion will move down through the mechanism that will allow the union going to the cutter. That mechanism almost same with conveyer. Beside peeler, the machines also have the cutter. After onion already peeled, it will move down through the small way going to the cutter. The cutter mechanism is also simple and easy for maintenance. This cutter will cut the onion one by one by using puncher. It quicker compares cutting using hand because with one punch many slices will produce. So it will reduce time of cut. The hand is used to push the puncher with high force so onion will easily cut without damage the whole onion. The cutter is very sharp and has a small size of a slice of onion that will be produced and no damage onion will produce. Then, anyone that already cut will fall down to the container
