Abstract
The paper discusses the design and development of mobile services (m-services) in the wireless world. M-services are a logical extension to Web services. The wireless world has its own features that make it different from the wired world. For instance, new communication methods need to be used, new user-friendly services need to be suggested, and new types of computing resources need to be involved. The paper also discusses the use of software agents in addressing the following issues. How are m-services discovered in an open wireless environment? How are m-services combined, and how are m-services made executable on mobile devices?
