Abstract

Excessive use of electronic equipment can cause problems with electricity quality and the power factor in household electrical loads. One way to overcome this problem is capacitor applied. Capacitors can be used to increase the power factor and improve the quality of electricity in household electrical loads. The test results without load showed an average power factor of 0.80, while the test results after repairs showed a power factor of 0.88. This research also evaluated the performance of voltage and current sensors integrated in the system. The current and voltage sensors can work well and are able to transmit data according to the actual values with an accuracy rate of 97.23%. The average accuracy level for current sensors reached 98.91% and 99.35%, while the accuracy level for voltage sensors obtained an average accuracy level of 99.95%.
