At the same time, fishing nets drift with the sea current and waves, which is easy to lose and hinder the normal navigation of other ships. The traditional fishing net tracking method relies on manual observation, with high working intensity and poor tracking reliability. For the real-time tracking and positioning requirements of fishing nets, This paper designed a fishing net-based UWB (Ultra Wide Band) ranging / Beidou AIS (Automatic Identification System, Ship automatic identification system) Monitoring system of the locator, The UWB range finder / Beidou AIS locator uses UWB RF ranging technology to achieve real-time ranging warning between fishing nets and fishing boats, At the same time, the Beidou satellite is used to locate and broadcast its own location information through the high-frequency wireless communication link, Ability to connect with the marine AIS system, Realize the fishing net tracking and merchant ship avoidance function, It has the advantages of high precision, low power consumption and wide-range of action. At the same time, the fishing net UWB rangefinder / Beidou AIS locator is linked to the fishery production remote real-time monitoring and management platform, enhancing the practicability and scalability of the fishing net UWB rangefinder / Beidou AIS locator, and improving the safety rescue capacity of fishing production and fishing boats.
