Abstract
As the control center of the energy storage system, the energy management system is responsible for data collection, operation analysis and control of energy storage inverter, energy storage batteries, meters and other equipment which achieves energy management and optimization. Based on the design of sodium-sulfur battery energy management system, the three-layer network structure of energy management system is discussed. The advanced analysis, control, evaluation and basic support function is demonstrated from four aspects: the operation control and evaluation, communication management, real-time data processing, historical data processing. Furthermore, the software design process and implementation are analyzed by combining with the typical functional modules. Sodium sulfur battery energy management system has been used in Shanghai smart grid integrated demonstration project. Taking the 200kW sodium-sulfur battery energy management system as an example, the practice and application which concern the real-time data acquisition, historical data analysis and optimization operation control are analyzed in the engineering project.
