Abstract

Abstract In this paper, author has presented design strategies for two core uncoupled heterogeneous multi-core fiber (MCF) to achieve minimum crosstalk. Authors have studied the variation of crosstalk between the cores in respect to the MCF parameters like bending radius, wavelength, core position and fiber length, so that single mode propagation can be made through designed uncoupled heterogeneous cores. The other important performance parameters of MCF i.e. group delay and dispersion have also been discussed in the paper.
