Abstract
ABSTRACTIn this paper, a slot loaded ultra wideband monopole patch antenna with triple band‐notched characteristic has been presented. The antenna consists of rectangular patch with three modified inverted U‐shaped slots to create three notches at Wi‐MAX (3.3–3.6 GHz), C‐band (3.7–4.2 GHz), and WLAN (5.15–5.85 GHz) frequencies. Lumped‐element equivalent circuit model and current distribution curves have been used to explain the triple band‐rejection characteristics of the designed antenna.
