Abstract

The transmission performance of two-tooth difference swing-rod movable teeth transmission system depends on the gear profile design. Based on the transmission principle of forward and inverse cam mechanism, tooth profile equations of wave generator and ring gear are deduced by setting the motion law of swing rod to realize the normalized design of tooth profile. Curvature radius of the ring gear tooth profile is derived. On this basis, by analyzing the relationship between amplitude coefficient and the curvature radius, the non-interference conditions of ring gear profile is obtained. And then the influence of amplitude coefficient on the transmission angle is analyzed. Thus, the amplitude coefficient range of the transmission system with good power transmission performance is obtained on the premise that the ring gear profile is free from interference under the given tooth profile parameters. This study provides a reference for the tooth profile design and parameter selection of the two-tooth difference swing-rod movable teeth transmission system.
