Abstract

A polarization-insensitive and wide-angle characteristic ultra-broadband metamaterial absorber (UBMMA) is designed by Shijun Ji and co-workers (article number 2100111), which is covering the C-/X-/Ku- and K-band. The calculation results indicate that the absorptivity of the UBMMA is more than 80% from 6.65 GHz to 23.73 GHz, and most of it is more than 90%. This absorber can be applied in the fields of broadband antennas, satellite radar and electromagnetic shielding.
