Abstract
A multi-layered structure of monolayer molybdenum selenide (MoSe2) with a dielectric Bragg grating, a spacer and a metal Ag film on SiO2 substrate has been proposed to achieve tunable and enhanced light absorption in two-dimensional MoSe2. Numerical simulation results demonstrate that light absorption of monolayer MoSe2 can reach as high as 81% due to the excitation of Tamm plasmon mode in multi-layered structure. The operating wavelength and efficiency of absorption peak can be easily tuned by changing the dielectric layer thickness and period number of Bragg grating, the position of MoSe2, and incident light angle, which would provide an efficient approach for the performance improvement of 2D MoSe2-based optoelectronic devices.
