Abstract
ABSTRACT This paper analyses the performance of permanent-magnet brushless DC motors, simulates the influence of motor parameters on the ripple torque and average torque, compares the performance with that of permanent-magnet synchronous motors, and obtains a design for permanent-magnet BLDC motors. The BLDC motor has the advantages of high torque density and small inverter capacity and is better than PMSM in driving performance.
