Abstract

The main concept of paper is to design a toll collection model using RFID based on Internet of things (IOT) concept. Proposed work is mainly based on sensors and RFID which are connected to Arduino. Therefore, the amount deducted from the RFID tag can be found through IOT server using node MCU. The use of RFID modules that mechanically collects the toll from shifting automobiles once they cross the toll plaza. Proposed system of project addresses the problems comes at toll plaza. The development of main roads increases the number of toll plazas. There are long queues at this number and further delays due to the time it takes to pay cash and return change. We view reports on the total time that a particular vehicle spends in traffic, assessing the overall fuel consumption and human intervention in the process. We develop an IoT-based toll plaza management system that can use RFID to pay fares. The work on this system, based on an automated counting system, can be fully manage using the concept of Internet of Things and based on RFID technology and QR / barcode using Arduino. Further, the idea of automating the entire payment process with IoT technology is to provide an optimal solution.
