Abstract
AbstractAn experimental study has been made of the capacity, rate and efficiency of moisture adsorption by coconut pith. Regeneration characteristics at different temperatures have also been studied and its properties are compared with those of standard desiccants, especially silica gel. The results indicate that coconut pith shows good promise as a cheap, yet effective desiccant.
