Abstract

The teaching of subjects related to programming and logic presents a series of challenges evidenced by recent works in the area of informatics in education, mainly related to the students' difficulty in associating logical questions in the initial programming subjects and difficulty in applying concepts related to these. disciplines on problems in other areas of knowledge. Such a feature is intrinsic to the area of computing, which is constantly applied with other problem solving disciplines. This paper presents the process of recycling components from slot machines for the construction of games focused on logic and algorithm learning. Through this process were created machines that support educational games. The application of these games will be held in workshops in schools and at UFSM, Cachoeira do Sul campus.
