Abstract

Seed coating of oatmeal with phosphorus is a viable alternative to the seed sector, since it can provide the same increase in performance and seedlings in the field. Thus, the objective of the present work was to evaluate the performance of oat seeds coated with different sources and doses of phosphorus. The experimental design was completely randomized with four replications. The treatments were arranged in a factorial design where the factor A tested phytin phosphorus sources and phosphate, and factor B compared the levels of 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8 g kg-1 seed, totaling 10 treatments with four replications. The treated seed physiological quality was evaluated by testing the first count of germination, germination, cold test, accelerated aging, length of shoot and root and shoot mass and root. It is concluded that the seed coating oat with phosphorous, the sources of phosphate and phytinarad, promote growth mainly on seed germination, and the dose of 4 g kg-1 seed that had the best performance.
