Based on the new challenges of the feminist research today, we propose to assess the role of the experience as an analytical tool in gender studies. Thus, based on the perspective view and on the Situated knowledge, and integrating the critique of the black and decolonial feminism, we manifest how the reality of immigrant one-parent families is not consistent with the reality studied for native women and middle class; therefore we recontextualize conceptual dimensions used in this field for their work in different realities.
