Abstract

The pupae of Aedes (Ochlerotatus) atlanticus Dyar and Knab and Aedes (Ochlerotatus) tormentor Dyar and Knab are described and illustrated for the first time. Two tables list the range, mode, and mean number of branches of each pupal hair for the 2 species. Notes on the biology of the larvae and pupae are given.
