Abstract

Detailed descriptions of Calliperla Banks and Rickera Jewett, including males, females, ova, and larvae are provided. The adults of two new western Nearctic Isoperla species, I. baumanni and I. roguensis, are described. Rickera is removed from the Isoperlinae and placed as a valid genus within Perlodinae based on male and female genitalic characters, nymphal mouthparts, and ova characteristics. The Isoperlinae now includes Bulgaroperla, Calliperla, Cascadoperla, Clioperla, Isoperla, Kaszabia, and Mesoperlina.
