Abstract

Newborn (BBL) is a baby born with head presentation with a gestational age of 37 to 42 weeks, without the help of a device with a birth weight of 2500 to 4000 grams, no congenital defects, apgar score 7 (Reza, 2022). Based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the third goal on health and welfare, the infant mortality rate in Indonesia in 2020 is 24 per 1000 live births. Objective: Describe the management of normal newborns 0-6 hours on Mrs. "I" babies at TPMB dear mother Sengkang Wajo Regency.Method: This case study uses a qualitative descriptive case study design which is carried out with an observational survey to describe facts about a situation objectively.
 Results: From the results of research that has been conducted on ny "I" babies regarding the management of normal newborns 0-6 hours, namely umbilical cord cutting, apgar score assessment, IMD, Vit K injection, eye ointment, physical examination, immunization of hebatitis B and prevention of heat loss. Conclusion: The picture of normal newborn management of 0-6 hours in baby ny "I" has been done well. The care provided are: umbilical cord cutting and umbilical cord treatment, apgar score assessment, IMD, Vit K administration, eye ointment administration, physical examination, HB 0 administration and heat loss prevention.
